Forget the ordinary fall festival—Marietta Chalktoberfest transforms historic Marietta Square into an enormous outdoor art gallery, where the pavement becomes the canvas and internationally recognized artists create astonishing masterpieces… one piece of chalk at a time.

• More than 80 professional chalk artists from around the U.S. and around the world participate.
• The artwork is created right on the streets, turning Marietta Square into a temporary open-air gallery.
• The festival is FREE and open to the public—perfect for a fall day of exploring.
• There’s a Community Chalk Competition, giving everyday artists a chance to create their own sidewalk masterpieces.
• The weekend includes live music, food trucks, arts & crafts vendors, and family activities.
• Saturday adds a Craft Beer Festival featuring 120+ beers and 25+ wines.
• Even better? Proceeds benefit the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, helping support the arts and the community.
And perhaps the best part? Watching a blank stretch of pavement transform into something spectacular right before your eyes. By the end of the weekend, Marietta’s streets are bursting with color, imagination and creativity.
